Description
The Port Concession Agreement signed in July 2024 has transformed Banjul’s Fourth Port Expansion Project. Key priorities include yard expansion, port digitalization, and extensive pavement and terminal rehabilitation. These upgrades reduced vessel waiting time from 343 to 82 hours, eliminated demurrage, increased shipping calls, and contributed to lower commodity prices.
