SCA receives Egypt’s first petroleum services vessel

The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has received FAKHR 1, Egypt’s first integrated petroleum supply and services vessel. The vessel arrived at Timsah Shipbuilding Company after completing a 33-day voyage from China. FAKHR 1 was built at Ningde Tai Jinzhou Yuajin Shipyard. The vessel transited the Suez Canal within the southbound convoy before reaching its berth. FAKHR 1 measures 64.8 meters in length and 16 meters in beam. It has a draft of 5 meters and accommodates 60 crew members.…
