Cameroon has approached investors and financial institutions in London for new sources of long-term capital to finance projects under its National Development Strategy, NDS30. The government presented opportunities in energy, transport infrastructure, mining, agro-industry, manufacturing, digital connectivity, water and urban development during meetings held on September 9 and 10, 2026. Located along the Ethiopia–Kenya border, Moyale Hospital provides essential health services to a catchment population of more than three million people. Its strategic location and role as a Point of Entry health facility make it important not only for routine healthcare delivery, but also for the prevention, detection and management of public-health threats that could spread across borders. For years, however, interruptions in the hospital’s water supply, inadequate sanitation and handwashing facilities, and weaknesses in healthcare-waste management made it difficult for healthcare workers to consistently maintain appropriate infection prevention and control standards.…

The Right Honourable, the Prime Minister Ntsokoane Matekane visited Mokhotlong district where he surveyed progress made on the rehabilitation of an eight kilometers long road from Ha Kotsia to Mokhotlong Hospital. He was taken on a road tour by the Green Energy and Logistics Consulting, a company supervising UNIK Construction which was awarded contract by Road Directorate to rehabilitate the road.In his brief remarks during inspection, He said the progress made so far on the rehabilitation project is impressive adding that there should be a clear maintenance plan to enhance sustainability when projects have been implemented.…
