Description

The project will be financed by a grant from TSF Pillar I Crisis Response Envelope of UA 15 million (USD 19.8 million)net of taxes and duties and a grant contribution of UA 1.84 million (USD 2.43 million)from UNHCR. The overall project cost is estimated at UA 16.84 million (USD 22.23 million). Considering that the resources are from TSF Pillar I, counterpart contribution is not required. In addition, the Bank’s 2020 Country Financing Parameters recommended 100% financing to the Government of South Sudan by the Bank Group due the high levels of public debt, limited fiscal space, fragility, and vulnerability in the country. Climate finance is not attributed to this project.
