Tatepa Public Limited Company is a Tanzania-based investment holding company. The Company and its subsidiary are involved in the growing, processing, packing, and sale of tea in local as well as the export markets. The Company has an operating segment, growing and processing of tea. In addition to tea, it also sells avocados in both local and international markets. The Company has an investment in its subsidiary, Wakulima Tea Company Limited, which owns approximately 316 hectares of mature tea bushes and over 198.2 hectares of forestry, located in the Tukuyu district, Tanzania. The forest plantations are maintained to provide wood fuel, which is essential for the withering of tea green leaf and the drying of processed tea.
