Business Description
Crookes Brothers Limited is a South Africa-based food production company. The Company operates through five segments: Sugar cane, Deciduous fruit, Bananas, Macadamias, and Property. Its Sugar cane segment comprises three separate units in Mpumalanga, one in KwaZulu-Natal, as well as a farm in eSwatini and Zambia. The Deciduous fruit segment consists of four farms, Ouwerf, Vyeboom, Dennebos and Belleview (Bellcro Farming), all located in the Elgin-Grabouw-Villiersdorp (EGV) region of the Western Cape. The Deciduous fruit segment manages over 43 hectares (ha) of deciduous orchards. The Banana segment manages its operation in Mpumalanga, Mozambique and eSwatini. The Macadamia segment is located near Gurue in Zambezia Province, Mozambique. The Property development segment has Renprop, which uses farmland on Reinshaw farm for the development of the industrial, commercial, and residential property. The Company’s segments also include other operations.
