Bamburi Cement PLC is a provider of building materials. The Company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of cement and cement-related products. The Company also owns and maintains an environmental park created from rehabilitated quarries. Its geographical segments include Kenya and Uganda which are mainly involved in the manufacture and sale of cement. The Company is also focused on the manufacture and sale of ready-mix concrete, precast products and rehabilitation of quarries that are used as a source of raw materials for cement production. Its cement products include Bamburi SETI 300 Tile Adhesive, Fundi, Tembo, Nguvu, Powermax, Duracem, Powerplus, Powercrete and Bulk cement. Its concrete products include BamburiBlox, Bamburi ready-mix concrete and Bamburi precast mold. It operates five cement plants, two plants located in Kenya, and three plants across Uganda. Its subsidiaries include Hima Cement Limited, Bamburi Special Products Limited, and others.
