Seed Co Limited is a Zimbabwe-based seed company. Its principal activities are the processing of agricultural seed on a commercial basis. It develops, breeds, and supplies seed species that include hybrid maize, wheat, soya bean, beans, rice, potatoes, sorghum, cotton, and vegetables. It engages in the breeding, multiplication and distribution of hybrid maize and vegetable seeds as well as open-pollinated varieties of cereal crops such as soya beans, sorghum, wheat, beans, sugar beans, cowpeas, sorghum, groundnuts, and vegetables. It operates and manages growers, warehouses, research stations and depots all over Zimbabwe, with the main processing plant being located at Stapleford, Mount Hampden Harare. Its vegetables business covers many species across leafy and fruity plant categories. Its wheat products include SC Select, SC Nduna and SC Serena. Its soya products include SC Sequel, SC Status, SC Safari and SC Serenade. Its sugar beans include Nua45, Bounty and SC Sharp.
