Nampak Limited is a diversified packaging manufacturer. Its product divisions include Metals; Paper; Plastics; Research and Development; and Inspection and Coding Solutions. The Metals division produces aluminum beverage cans and ends for the alcoholic, carbonated soft drink, fruit juice, vegetable juice and iced tea markets. The Paper division includes the production of beverage cartons for milk, fruit juice, water and traditional beer, self-opening paper bags for the flour and sugar markets, poultry, food, and general commercial markets, as well as labels and folding cartons for the tobacco, and beverage markets. Plastics produces high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles and jars, plastic closures, crates and drums suitable for fruit juice, dairy, carbonated soft drink, beverage, agriculture, chemical, personal care and household markets.
