Transcorp Power PLC is a Nigerian electricity generation company operating gas-fired power assets. Its plant has eighteen gas turbines with different capacities, including twelve Hitachi H25 turbines of 23.8 megawatts each and six General Electric Frame 9E turbines of 105 megawatts each. The power plant is organized into Delta II, Delta III and Delta IV sections, each containing different turbine units. The company sells generated electricity into Nigeria’s power value chain, making its business dependent on plant availability, gas supply, dispatch, tariffs, collections and sector regulation. Transcorp Power is part of Nigeria’s private power-generation industry and provides infrastructure-backed exposure to domestic electricity demand.
